Selected as the "The Best New Restaurant" statewide by the readers of Connecticut Magazine in 2009, Brasserie Pip
is chic and intimate with a gleaming copper-topped bar, a perfect place for fresh oysters and cocktails. Awarded Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" for 2010 Pip’s is an inviting, lively and stylish place to enjoy a blend of traditional French brasserie and Modern American cuisine. The Copper Beech Inn's Main Dining Room was awarded a AAA Four Diamond Award in 2010, our 13th consecutive year. Our nationally-recognized award-winning chef is inspired by locally-raised ingredients from the Connecticut River Valley and the New England shore. Selected by USA Today and Zagat as one of the "Top 100 Hotel Restaurants in America" Pip’s caters to food enthusiasts and wine lovers alike. Its wine list, with over 400 selections and 2,500 bottles complements the menu, which changes frequently and always highlights the best sustainable seafood, and meats and vegetables that have been raised, foraged, farmed or produced within a 150‐mile radius of the Inn. In spring and summer al fresco dining on the covered porch offers guests a view of the lush gardens and fountain. And, according to one reviewer, the housemade baguettes, "are reason enough to eat here."
